A unique story and atmosphere
Founded in 1967, La Coupole is a true institution in Geneva. Located in the heart of the city, a few steps from the Halle de Rive, this emblematic brasserie embodies the successful marriage of culinary tradition and a warm welcome.
Formerly known as «Les Jardins Rive Gauche», a Michelin-starred restaurant belonging to the RICHEMOND group, the restaurant was taken over by Mr. Giovanini and became La Coupole. This chic establishment, with its prestigious clientele, quickly established itself as a must-visit bar-restaurant in Geneva from its opening. The business became a family affair when his son, Marc Giovanini, joined his father to manage the venue. His exceptional sense of hospitality and service were remarkable and noticed. Together, they successfully transformed La Coupole into a chic brasserie with a strong culinary identity and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.



Harmonious evolution under Little Big Food
Since its takeover by Little Big Food in 2017, La Coupole has remained the same and has managed to retain its soul. It has simply modernised its management while preserving its original purpose: to offer high-quality traditional cuisine in an authentic and elegant atmosphere.

La Coupole offers classic and refined cuisine, with carefully prepared specialities using local produce. The signature dish? The famous perch fillets from Lake Geneva with lemon butter, which are inseparable from the establishment's reputation. Just like the Milanese escalope with its freshly made breadcrumbs, the Coupole butter beef fillet or the thinly sliced Zurich-style veal.

Head Chef, Marcos de Abreu, orchestrates a menu where each dish is designed to be flavourful and comforting, respecting tradition and the produce. Homemade dishes have their place here.
