Head Waiter M/F – Seasonal Establishment
The Kiosque des Bastions is recruiting experienced Head Waiters to support the growth of its seasonal business. At the heart of the service, you will be responsible for the autonomous management of your row, both in the dining room and on the terrace, with a sustained volume. You will be responsible for taking orders, monitoring the entire service and cashing up, while ensuring speed, precision and perfect coordination with the kitchen and bar.

Your tasks
- Autonomous management of a high-volume row Ensuring order taking, complete service follow-up, and payments are handled on a section that can reach a significant volume, both indoors and outdoors. Guarantee speed, accuracy, and coordination with the kitchen and bar teams.
- Food and drink service & soft drinks Mastering table service that is sustained and adapted to a busy brewery setting. Ensuring a smooth and efficient service, maintaining a consistent level of quality despite the intensity of service, particularly during the summer. Advising customers on food, drinks, and wines clearly and professionally.
- Customer relations – mixed clientele Welcoming and accompanying local and tourist customers with ease and professionalism. Adapting to a variety of profiles, managing expectations with responsiveness and diplomacy. Dealing with comments and operational situations with composure and a sense of service. Contribute to a friendly, high-quality experience in keeping with the spirit of the place.
- Organisation and implementation Playing an active role in setting up the dining room and terrace (setting up, organising flows, anticipating services). Ensuring cleanliness, orderliness and operational efficiency at all times. Ensuring that the restaurant is cleaned quickly and thoroughly after each service.
- Teamwork in a supported environment Working closely with the runners, clerks, bar staff and kitchen staff to ensure that the team runs smoothly and performs well. Play an active role in managing peaks in activity (particularly during the summer season).
Profile sought
- Proven experience as a head waiter, ideally serving at the table in a high-volume brasserie (100+ covers) with a terrace.
- Excellent stress resistance and ability to maintain a high level of service during busy periods.
- Sense of rhythm, anticipation and organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, smart presentation and a well-developed sense of service.
- Ability to manage several tables and tasks simultaneously with rigour and efficiency.
- Team spirit essential.
- Fluency in French and English required (international clientele).

- Type of establishment brasserie with a structured and volume-oriented kitchen
- Average capacity: 100 to 150 covers at lunchtime / around 100 covers in the evening
- Interruptible and continuous services proposed
- Activity Seasonal (May to September) with marked peaks of intensity
We offer
- CCNT hourly contracts on a flexible basis of 50 to 100% depending on availability from May to September 2026. Possibility of fixed-term contracts after a validated 3-month probationary period.
